The type of PVC used to manufacture Healthline Medical’s products is an extreamely durable material that is much stronger that other plastics. The strength enhancer’s used in the extrusion process allow the pipe to withstand high impact forces not known in your typically pluming pipe. For instance, from our testing, we have seen our DuraCores withstand impacts of many times that which completely shattered other plastic cores made of ABS or Styrene.
The carefully designed pipe has been rigorously tested over the years to hold up to the standards we require in the medical field. Our customers at home, or in the care of caretakers at medical facilities need to be certain that the products we manufacture will withstand the test of continuous use and this is what we have done. We believe we have created the most durable products on the market today.
Our PVC has a very tight surface structure which results in a glossy surface that colors beautifully. All of our PVC formulations are RoHS EC 95 Compliant and do not include phthalate plasticizers. They have zero heavy metals including lead and cadmium.
